New Catalog Hop June 2016!

This month’s theme is new catalog stamp sets and I picked one of my favorites, Jar of Love. I also used the versatile set Better Together. Keep reading to the end and don’t forget to leave your #stampitcontest comment on this blog and all the blogs to win the fabulous prize!

You have probably just come from Siara’s blog, isn’t her project the best? We have some very talented stampers in this group and I am so proud to be one of them!

I created this very easy to make card by starting with a Sweet Sugarplum cardstock A2 size base, 4 1/4″ by 11″ ,scored at 5 1/2″.

I cut two pieces of whispher white thick cardstock (you can use the regular weight also) at 4″ by 5 1/4″.

I used the Project Life corner rounder and corner rounded the bottom edges of all three pieces. I then stamped the largest jar image from the Jar of Love stamp set (#141587) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the bottom right corner of the whispher white piece and also stamped the bow image on the rim of the mason jar. I then used the dot image from the set and randomly stamped with all of the 2016-2018 in-colors to create the confetti look. Kinda cool! I also added in a few stamps of the heart image with sweet sugarplum ink. I added the “Happy Birthday” from Better Together, another great new set that’s so versatile! (#141733/141736)

 I adhered the whispher white piece with Stampin Dimensionals to the front of the card base and added the 2016-2018 in color Enamel Shapes for added dimension. I then stamped the matching sentiment on the inside of the card and added some more confetti dots. I adhered to the inside with snail adhesive.

Isn’t this card cool? I love it and I hope you will give it a try. This card could be stepped up with some sequins or Wink of Stella also…
